🌤 welcome

my name is Shuranjeet Singh (he/him) and I am currently a doctoral student at Oxford University. I work as a mental health research consultant for the Wellcome Trust as well as a writer and speaker on topics ranging from health inequalities and community-based mental health interventions to the politics of mental health research. Locally, I am a school governor, charity volunteer, and housing organiser.
As a DPhil student I am exploring the place of power within processes of participation in mental health research. I recently completed a masters programme in health policy at the University of Toronto, where I was studying through the support of the Canadian Rhodes Scholars Foundation.
alongside my studies I am also the founder and director of Taraki, a grassroots movement working with Punjabi communities to reshape approaches to mental health.
I am open to commissions, collaborations, and conversations, so if you feel that we would benefit from speaking you can always reach out.
