my name is Shuranjeet Singh (he/him). I work as an advisor and researcher in mental health as well as a writer and speaker on topics ranging from health inequalities and community-based mental health interventions to the politics of mental health research.
I am currently a DPhil student at Oxford University exploring the place of power within processes of participation in mental health research. I recently completed a masters programme in health policy at the University of Toronto, where I am studying through the support of the Canadian Rhodes Scholars Foundation.
alongside my studies I am also the founder and director of Taraki, a grassroots movement working with Punjabi communities to reshape approaches to mental health.
